It Doesn't! IIDA exists as a support network, a community of Irish Dance teachers looking for a community of teachers to talk with, bounce ideas off of, and find support, without the membership fees, rules and regulations of a traditional organizations.

No! IIDA is for everyone interested in open platform Irish dance. While we can't speak to your organization's rules on belonging to other groups we have no restrictions on what organization you belong to and do not require you to leave your current organization to join our support community

Joining our community is completely FREE! The form and plan selection allows you to have an account created on our website to access the only file section where we provide free resources for your use. Know which organizations and certifications you have helps us connect community members to the right support when they need it so we can all help each other navigate open platform competition.

Our online file system will include: - Digital Feis Syllabus Template - Open Platform Music Speed Reference Sheet - Videos for Trad Sets in each Organization - Suggested Digital Scoring System for Digital Feis - Get Your Feis Listed in our Open Platform Feis list AND on our Facebook page (Free Advertising) - AND MORE! We want to provide what YOU need to navigate Open Platform feis. Yes! No Teaching certification is required to join our community, Just a passion for teaching Irish dance to the next generation and a willingness to share and grow with our community.
